Send us a message

I’d love to hear what you’re working on, whether it’s a room that won’t come together or a find you think other readers should know about. You can use the contact form on this page or email hello@mydecorlife.com. The form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to keep out spam, and messages are forwarded to the site owner’s inbox.

Asking a decorating question

The most useful questions include a few specifics about the room. Please tell me the rough dimensions, which way the windows face or how much light the room gets, and which pieces have to stay. It also helps to mention your budget and whether you rent or own, since that changes what’s possible on the walls. A question like how to arrange a sofa and two chairs in a 12-by-15-foot room with a corner fireplace is much easier to answer than a request for general ideas.

I can talk through layout, color and styling, but I can’t provide professional design, electrical, structural or safety advice. For wiring, gas fireplaces, load-bearing questions or anything mounted over a walkway, please speak with a qualified professional.

Suggesting a product

Product suggestions are welcome from readers and makers alike. Send the product name, a link to the listing, the room it suits, and the reason it stood out. If you own it, feel free to mention how it has held up and what you wish you’d known before buying. Sending a suggestion doesn’t guarantee that a product will be covered.

Reporting a correction

If you notice a broken link, an outdated product detail or a measurement that doesn’t look right, please send the page address and a short description of the problem. Corrections from readers help everyone who lands on that page later.

Before you send a message

Please share only what’s needed to answer your question, and leave out sensitive details such as your home address or payment information. The Privacy Policy explains how contact messages are handled.

Decorating questions

Email hello@mydecorlife.com or use the contact form with your room's approximate dimensions, its natural light, what has to stay, and your budget. Those details make it much easier to give a useful answer. I can share decorating thoughts, but not professional design, electrical or structural advice.

Product suggestions

If you've found a piece worth a look, send its name, a link to the listing, and the room or problem it suits. Tell me what caught your eye and anything you'd want other readers to know. A suggestion is always welcome, though it isn't a promise that the product will be featured.

Corrections and site problems

Spot a broken link, an outdated product detail or a measurement that looks wrong? Send the page address and a quick note about what you noticed. If the contact form gives you any trouble, email hello@mydecorlife.com directly.
